So far, I've seen no intelligent comments on the story of this song. The DA was pumping his left hand while the long cool woman held his right. The Hollies singer, Allan Clarke lives close to my hometown and was once interviewed on our local radio station where LCW was discussed.
And, certainly, the opening guitar lick remains one of the best ever, with the clever double drum beats augmenting the riffs to this very cool song.
